Love, love, love is a beautiful thing. Forgive me for being so mushy but it’s real. Once you get hit by the arrows of Cupid, there’s no turning back. If you’re one of the lucky ones who had found love in the right place and the right time, then you must do your best to keep it that way.
These tips come from a friend. They’re not actually my ideas because if they were, I probably would have a love life of my own. However, it seems that I’m part of the unlucky ones. (Laughs).
Tip 1
Be sympathetic of your partner’s needs
It doesn’t take much will power to be empathize with other people’s emotions (not just your partner, by the way). It all boils down to your character as a person. If you feel like he/she is in need, why not offer it?
Tip 2
Listening is the key
Lack of communication leads to misunderstandings. Stop talking for a while and take time to listen for what the other has to say. You will eventually get to the bottom of all arguments when you take heed of each other’s side.
Tip 3
When things get intimate, why don’t you initiate? (I hope you get my point.) There’s nothing like a good old spice in the relationship, right?
Tip 4
Praise him/her
There’s nothing more pleasing to the ears than hearing your partner say words of endearment and praise. Do this every once in a while and you’ll see the improvement.
